Pascale Trompette is Professor of Sociology at the University of Grenoble (France). Her main research interest concerns the political foundations of markets. She has conducted an in-depth study of the funeral market in France. Current projects concernthe relationship between markets and poverty, through innovative projects in social technologies and inclusive markets.
