Eric Helleiner

Eric Helleiner is Faculty of Arts Chair of International Political Economy and Professor at the Balsillie School of International Affairs and Department of Political Science at University of Waterloo. His most recent books include The Status Quo Crisis: Global Financial Governance after the 2008 Meltdown (Oxford, 2014), Forgotten Foundations of Bretton Woods: International Development and Making of the Postwar Order (Cornell, 2014), and (co-edited with Jonathan Kirshner), The Great Wall of Money: Power and Politics in China’s International Monetary Relations (Cornell, 2014).  He has been a Trudeau Fellow and Canada Research Chair, and is currently co-editor (with Jonathan Kirshner) of the book series Cornell Studies of Money.
