Teea Palo is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Edinburgh Business School, UK. Her research is situated at the intersection between marketing and organisation studies, with a focus on the organisation of markets in a range of empirical contexts, including technology, tourism and culture. In particular, she is interested in the devices and practices of constructing, organising and shaping sustainable markets. Ranging from business models to myths as market making devices, her work explores ways in which actors narrate, circulate and share stories of imagined markets, and how such stories are performed and materialised into markets. Her recent work also looks at the marketization of places and the spatial qualities of markets. Teea’s work has been published in Organisation Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, and Consumption Markets & Culture, among others.
