Bernardo Bátiz-Lazo

Bernardo Bátiz-Lazo is currently professor of business history and bank management at the Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University. Bernardo has been studying financial markets and institutions since 1988 and combined this research with consulting and executive training in Europe, the Gulf States, Latin America and Asia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and a member of the editorial board of Business History, Business History Review, Essays in Economic and Business History, and Journal of Management History. Since 1999 he has been the curator of a weekly report on new working papers in business, economic and financial history.
