Jing Wang is Assistant Professor of Interactive Media Business and faculty fellow in the Program on Creativity and Innovation at NYU Shanghai. She received a Ph.D. in Communication and Information from Rutgers University. Jing is interested in how information and communication technologies influence financial practices in the global context. Her recent work focuses on the social and political implications of fin-techs in China. She has published her work in the journal of Telecommunications Policy, International Journal of Communication, The Political Economy of Communication, Communication and the Public, and The China Quarterly. She has also been invited to comment in The China Business News, and China Global TV Network.
