Ine Van Hoyweghen

Ine Van Hoyweghen is Research Professor at the Centre for Sociological Research (CeSO) at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. Her research interest is in sociology of biomedicine, science and technology studies, sociology of innovation, and social theory. Her work focuses on the dynamics of economization in health care and its effects on the forms of life with biomedicine. She is a member of the Young Academy of the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts (KVAB).
